The Live Stage

This is a hugely popular feature of the show, hosted by TV's 'Wheeler Dealers' Mike Brewer and Edd China.

The Live stage presents a full daily programme of activities including 'Edd's Challenge' (what will Mike task Edd with building this year?), live car demos, expert guests, gameshows, giveaways and general tomfoolery all day, every day. It's not a formal or stuffy affair, just come along, grab a seat (it's free to all ticket holders), meet the guys and enjoy the show.

Check back here for the Live Stage Timetable, this will be available immediately pre-show.

If you're a fan of TV motoring programmes then, no doubt, you'll already know all about our regular Live Stage hosts Mike Brewer and Edd China.

Their Wheeler Dealers series is one of the most popular shows on the Discovery network.

The Live Stage hosts cars, rebuilds and FUN!

For the one or two of you that don't know about TV's Wheeler Dealers programme:

Mike, Edd and Paul meet and greet the fans

Mike Brewer is the cheeky, chirpy, cockney chap who buys and sells cars while his TV partner, Edd China, is the middle class, public schooled, 'English eccentric' engineer who's (often unenviable) task is to repair and restore Mike's purchases to tip top condition for sale, aided (usually off camera but this time caught 'on' - next to Edd) by the show's technical advisor Paul Brackley

Mike and Edd are joined onstage by Danny Hopkins from Practical Classics Mag

Mike then sells the car on, hopefully for a small profit, usually accompanied by the phrase ‘’old out yer aaand, you’ve got yerself a crackin’ motor’. Granted, it’s a strange pairing (how they ever met in the first place, no-one really knows), but it's one that absolutely works

Mike, hosting our now legendary 'Play Your Cars Right' gameshow on the stage. Evolution, finally explained by TV's Wheeler Dealers Paul, Mike and Edd

Last year Mike set Edd the challenge of building a Morris Minor van, from literally a pile of bits on the floor. Clearly even Edd couldn't do this single handedly so the team from Practical Classics Magazine, led by the showbiz legend and editor Danny Hopkins, came along to help.  Despite the expectations of just about everyone, they actually pulled it off and made a car that actually worked! How they're going to top that this year we just don't know, but it'll be fun finding out!

For those of you not of a technical persuasion - don't panic!

Edd China on his world record breaking 'fastest furniture' approaches the stage! Mulligan and O'Hare in a rare live appearance

The Live Stage is not all about mechanics. There's lots of fun to be had and a great atmosphere!

We did it! We built it in 3 days, from a pile of bits. Lets flatten it!

When they are not in 'Wheeler Dealers mode' Mike is a very busy and well repected motoring journalist. He also presents the massive new show 'Trading Up' as well as having recently published a new book and opened his own car dealership!

Edd can usually be found creating rather spectacularly engineered creations. For example, Edd held a world record for 'fastest furniture' with the 87mph sofa/coffee table arrangement he built...Why? Well, why not!
