How to Bid at Auction

There are four ways to bid at an Iconic Auctioneers Sale: in person at the auction, or for those unable to attend the live event - via telephone, online, or a commission bid. To register to bid, log in or create an account. Please note, all bids are final and non-revocable.

Telephone bidding allows you to bid live. On the auction day one of the Iconic Auctioneers team will contact you prior to the Lot going through and guide you through the process.

Online bidding is also available with their partner The Saleroom. Please note that bidding with a third party incurs an additional 1% buyer's commission.

Commission bidding is ideal if you are unavailable on the auction day. It is the maximum amount you are willing to bid up to and we will execute your bid on your behalf.

How to submit an entry

Enter your car, motorcycle or automobilia item online
Supply Iconic Auctioneers with basic information on the make, model, year, mileage and condition of the car or motorcycle, or a description of your automobilia item
If the vehicle or item is appropriate for sale there will be a follow-up conversation and a valuation presented to you
The valuation is achieved with input from yourself and the Iconic Auctioneers team of knowledgeable and experienced specialists
Upon the agreement of the valuation and T’s & C’s, your vehicle or item is entered for auction
Iconic Auctioneers’ in-house photographer will capture your vehicle or item with images to be used to promote the auction
Promotion includes a place in the catalogue, PR coverage, magazines, social media and third-party listings (subject to submission date)
All enquiries are managed by your specialist who has taken the time to get to know all there is about your car
At the sale, Iconic Auctioneers have a valeting team to keep your classic looking its best
