The Alfa Romeo Owners Club UK’s newly formed Modified Register will provide the theme of the club’s display at the Lancashire Insurance Classic Motor Show, with Discovery, at Birmingham’s NEC from 10-12 November
For the past 53 years, the Alfa Romeo Owners’ Club has provided invaluable support to all enthusiasts of this famous marque, with sections devoted to individual model families.
The rise in popularity of modified classics has resulted in the formation of the AROC UK Modified Register to continue the preservation and enjoyment of Alfas for a new generation of enthusiasts.
The club aims to present an eight-strong line-up that will highlight diverse aspects of the firm’s history, including prime examples of the 105, one of the most famous vehicles to bear the Alfa badge. The 155 was the company’s first large FWD saloon and a veritable BMW and Audi rival of the 1990s and there will also be a chance to see the very desirable and increasingly rare 147 GTA - the 153 mph 3.2-litre version of the Alfa Romeo that was voted 2001 European Car of the Year.
The AROC looks forward to meeting enthusiasts of all ages and any visitor to the NEC who has a passion for magnificent Italian cars should immediately make for their stand in Hall 1.
