With some of the earliest cars powered by steam and started by a crank lever, the event will take you on a motoring journey, starting right at the very beginning with the pioneers of engineering. Vehicles from before the turn of the 20th century lead visitors into the stunning classic cars from the 1920s and 30s in the form of the Rolls-Royce, Alvis, Ford, and Jowett.

Motoring developments from the 1940s through to the swinging 60s are showcased, as well as those advancements which took cars into historic motorsport and the excitement of the circuit with the likes of Sir Stirling Moss at the wheel. The 70s saw the disco era of the Capri and the increase of horsepower – and we don’t just mean the Mustang!
