Over 70 percent of all Porsche vehicles ever built are still on the road today. With expert knowledge and over 52,000 genuine parts Porsche Classic makes sure it stays that way, helping owners care for their historic Porsche by offering a range of maintenance and repair services through our network of Porsche Centres, in particular our four UK Classic Partner Centres.
2017 marks the 40th anniversary of the 928, a car that was originally destined to replace the 911. The 928 never did replace the 911 yet still secured its place in Porsche history as an outstanding luxury GT car and the last of the traditional 2-door, transaxle models.
On the Porsche Classic stand this year will be a 1978 Porsche 928 that has been racing in the 2017 season of the HSCC 70’s Roadsport Championship, driven by none other than Le Mans legend Richard Attwood.
The car has been supported at each race by a team from the four UK Classic Partner Centres in Glasgow, Hatfield, Leeds and Swindon who will also be displaying a selection of Classic models for sale.
Richard Attwood will be making an appearance at the show to talk about the car, the races and his amazing career spanning over 50 years across many forms of motorsport
Owners can also find out more about the new Porsche Classic Register which has been created specifically for classic Porsche owners in the UK, giving them access to a range of exclusive benefits to help look after for their classic Porsche along with the peace of mind of knowing that their car is being cared for by Porsche.
