Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show Discovery Channel Live Stage with Wheeler Dealers

THE DISCOVERY LIVE STAGE, FEATURING WHEELER DEALERS

The Discovery Live Stage, featuring The Wheeler Dealers, was not to be missed, even more so as 2017 saw Mr 'Wheeler Dealer' himself Mike Brewer and his new co-host and Ant Anstead on our very own Live Stage which was jam packed with motoring magic, madness and mayhem all day long.

Wheeler Dealers is one of the most popular shows on the Discovery Channel and the biggest motoring show in the world! Mike Brewer buys and sells cars bringing them back to the workshop for Ant Anstead to repair and restore them to tip top condition for Mike to sell for a tidy profit.

With an all-new series of Wheeler Dealers aired in 2017, Mike and Ant took visitors behind the scenes with a sneak peek of the cars they have been working on as well as all the gossip from the workshop.

A full daily programme in 2017 featured motoring entertainment including the 'Practical Classics Practical Challenge' which saw Mike setting Ant and the team from Practical Classics magazine a classic car challenge on Friday morning – that usually starts with a box of parts -  which needed to be a running, driving car by Sunday afternoon. Visitors followed the team as they fought against the clock to get the car finished before the horns sound marking the end of the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, with Discovery. This year's challenge was to recreate Mr Bean's Mini live on stage, using a Mini that Rowan Atkinson's son once owned and the talented PC team had the Mini driving off the stage in it's full capacity on Sunday evening.

Alongside Mike and Ant, we were thrilled to be joined by motoring experts and celebrity guests including the team from TV's Goblin Works Garage (Jimmy De Ville, Helen Stanley and Ant Partridge), Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars team Drew Pritchard and Paul Cowland, Jesse McClure from British Treasure American Gold, iconic car designer Frank Stephenson and TV's Judge Rinder plus more!

Just to top it off, there were classic car parades from the Sporting Bears’ Dream Rides, special guests, expert advice, game shows with fantastic prizes, giveaways and general tomfoolery all day, every day.

Come along and grab a seat (for free) and enjoy the 2018 show.

Keep checking back for this year's stage timetable and more guests announcements so you can plan your day!

Note: On one there will be a sign language interpreter on the stage for those who may need assistance.
