We're doing all we can to ensure you have an enjoyable and safe Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, with discovery+, in the easiest way possible! On this page you can read about the changes we have made to help keep everyone safe.

COVID Status Checks

This year, we require proof of COVID status upon entry for everyone. For residents in England, this can be shown through one of the following:

  • Proof of double vaccination, with the second at least 14 days prior to the event via the NHS app or website
  • Proof of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test. Please take the test at home before you travel to the show and register the result. You can then show the email/text from the NHS. Please note that this will last for 48 hours, so you may need to re-test if you are attending all 3 days
  • Proof of natural immunity, based on a positive PCR test within 180 days of the show via a text/email from the NHS
  • If you are medically exempt - more information here

Please note that anyone under 18 does NOT need a covid pass.

See the NEC site for more info

Need to order a lateral flow test?

If you wish to prove your status via a Lateral Flow Test, you can order them online or pick them up at any chemist or test site.

Order your test online

For those visitors who cannot provide their COVID-status, the NEC Venue Protect team will offer the option to take a lateral flow test on-site. If the result is negative, you will be able to enter the venue. The lateral flow test costs £12 per person. This charge covers the costs of staffing the testing, the on-site arrangements and the cost of purchasing the test. The NEC does not make a profit from the test charge.

Make sure you're free from symptoms

Before travelling to attend our event, we kindly ask visitors to take personal accountability for their health and those around them by adhering to COVID-19 safety measures in place and NOT attending the show if they: are displaying symptoms, have been asked to self-isolate or live with an individual who has symptoms of COVID-19.
