The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, with Discovery, attracts its fair share of motoring icons and celebrity classic car enthusiasts. Over the three days, we welcomed special guests to the Wheeler Dealers Live Stage with Mike Brewer and Ant Anstead, as well as those who just wanted to enjoy the cars and bikes like any other visitor.

Over the years, our guest list has included the likes of Sir Stirling Moss, David Soul, Steve Coogan, Ross Brawn, Chris Evans, Jools Holland, Guy Martin, Theo Paphitas, Quentin Wilson, Edd China, Jessie McClure, James May and many more. We are also thrilled to have been visited by motorsport legends such as Rosemary Smith, Norman Dewis, Barrie Whizzo Williams, Barry Lee, and Mick Grant.

At last year's show we were thrilled to be joined by the likes of the Goblin Works Garage team (Jimmy De Ville, Helen Stanley and Ant Partridge), Car SOS star Fuzz Townshend, Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars duo Drew Pritchard and Paul Cowland, Jesse McClure from British Treasure American Gold, iconic car designer Frank Stephenson and TV's Judge Rinder plus more!

Taking to the stage, Wheeler Dealers and motor experts, Mike Brewer and Ant Anstead shared with us their top tips, motoring highlights and the latest on their new series on the Discovery Channel...

Mike Brewer

He’s the car dealer turned TV star who’s travelled the world asking folk to ‘hold out your hand’ while he makes a cracking deal. From the early days of Driven, crossing continents in Trading Up, on the frontline of Afghanistan, and through to over 135 restorations on Wheeler Dealers, Mike continues to find the best cars for the best possible price. But he’s never forgotten his trade roots as he owns two car dealerships in the UK along with other motoring businesses.

Ant Anstead

Designer, artist, world record holder, semi-professional football player, car nut, Ant has been building bespoke cars since he was a kid. Ant’s restorations on For the Love of Cars with Philip Glenister have achieved phenomenal prices at auction. Since then he’s also hosted Building Cars Live with James May, his own ten-part show on the World’s Most Expensive Cars, and is now the newest member of the Wheeler Dealers team.
