There are four ways to bid at an Iconic Auctioneers Sale: in person at the auction, or for those unable to attend the live event - via telephone, online, or a commission bid. However you wish to bid you will need to provide one form photo ID and one proof of address (EG, A photo driving licence OR a passport and utility bill) to complete your registration. To register to bid, log in or create an account. Please note, all bids are final and non-revocable.
Bidding in the auction room you can register bid in the room on the viewing or auction days by visiting the registration desk, you will need to provide ID and then you will be issued with you bidders paddle number.
Telephone bidding allows you to bid live. On the auction day one of the Iconic Auctioneers team will contact you prior to the Lot going through and guide you through the process.
Online bidding is also available on the day through their website www.iconicauctioneers.com and also with their partner The Saleroom. Please note that bidding with a third party incurs an additional 1% buyer's commission.
Commission bidding is ideal if you are unavailable on the auction day. It is the maximum amount you are willing to bid up to and they will execute your bid on your behalf.
