Ben is a former West Yorkshire Traffic Officer and can now be seen on TV shows such as Channel 5’s Police Interceptor, 999 Clear and Present Danger, and Hell On the Highway.

After 19 years to serving and protecting the public, Ben was forced to give it all up and retire in October 2020 due to ill health and work-related PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).

Ben exchanging his baton for the mighty pen and taking up a new role out of the uniform that was his identity for almost two decades. Ben is now a successful best-selling author and motivational speaker, Not only lecturing throughout the U.K. about his mental health journey but raises thousands of pounds a year for emergency services mental health treatment with his charity 1965 PTSD Awareness.
