Bob Wilkinson

After a 40 year close involvement with classic car clubs as secretary, and chairman -  Ford Y & C Model Register and Model A Ford Club GB  - Bob responded to the need to encourage new enthusiasts to enable them to enjoy the classic car world.

To this end he has developed two particular initiatives - Classic Virgins (at British Motor Museum) and over the past six years, the Classic Car Loan Project (CCLP) which puts younger drivers into cars for a full year's realistic experience. Bob’s hope is that clubs will use the CCLP as a blueprint to develop their own in-house schemes.
