60th Anniversary Celebration of the Ford Mustang

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the iconic Ford Mustang, and the club is putting together a remarkable showcase that represents every generation of this legendary car. The display will feature ten Mustangs, starting with Gerry Kilsby’s stunning 1964.5 Mustang Convertible, a true classic that helped start the Mustang legacy.
Among the standout vehicles is a 1967 Fastback GT350 owned by Peter Cavallo. Known for his deep knowledge of early fastbacks, Peter is the go-to person for enthusiasts considering owning one of these classics. He’ll be on hand to give guided tours of his GT350 and offer insights into what makes these cars so special.
Adding to the lineup, Adam will present a Mustang II, representing the second generation (1973-1978). This barn-find gem has been carefully cleaned up to show what can be achieved with a little TLC. As these models gain appreciation, finding a quality example like this has become more challenging.
The display also includes a modern twist with Simon Bates’ supercharged 2006 Mustang California Special, showcasing impeccable attention to detail. Additionally, one of the latest S550 Mach 1 Mustangs will be featured, just as Ford rolls out the next-generation S650 in the UK later this year.
To commemorate the occasion, special 60th anniversary merchandise will be available, featuring the club’s custom-designed logo. With such a range of Mustangs on display, there’s sure to be something that captures the heart of every car enthusiast.
