Naylor Car Club
)
We’re thrilled to celebrate two major milestones: the 40th anniversary of the car's debut at the 1984 International Motor Show at the NEC and 30 years since the founding of the car club. Our display features the original 1983 prototype Naylor TF1700, which holds the distinction of being the first chassis ever produced, showcasing unique features that didn’t make it to the production model. Alongside it are two production models—a Naylor from the initial run and a Hutson from the later series, following the company’s acquisition and rebranding. Although branded differently, both cars share the same mechanical pedigree.
The exhibit is a fitting tribute to the car’s launch, coinciding with the NEC Classic Motor Show’s own inaugural year in 1984.
