Boston Classic Car Club

Celebrating the 35th anniversary of the club’s formation, the Boston Classic Car Club will showcase a diverse array of vehicles, including a Saab, Sunbeam Alpine, Austin J40, Cortina MK2, Mini, and a miniature motorbike.

A highlight of the stand is the 1966 Sunbeam Alpine Series V GT, lovingly restored over nine years by its owner after decades of neglect. Purchased for just £150 in 1981, the Alpine’s restoration involved extensive bodywork, mechanical rebuilds, and interior refurbishment, much of it completed by hand with help from family. Returning to the road in 1990, this project directly inspired the creation of the Boston Classic Car Club later that year, which has since grown to over 300 members.

Visitors can enjoy a showcase of cars from different countries and eras, reflecting the club’s commitment to celebrating automotive history and fostering a welcoming community for classic car enthusiasts.
