Daimler & Lanchester Owners’ Club – 130 Years of British Motoring
Daimler & Lanchester Owners' Club

2025 marks 130 years since the first Lanchester was built in the UK, and the DLOC is celebrating this milestone with a special display.

  • 1904 Lanchester 20hp Open Tourer – loaned by the JDHT, this veteran car will shortly take part in the London to Brighton run.

  • 1947 Lanchester LD10 Abbott-bodied DHC – a classic post-war example.

  • Lanchester L14/2 Roadrider Saloon – one of the final models featuring independent front suspension.

Complementing the historic Lanchesters, the club will also showcase three iconic Daimlers:

  • 1961 SP250 Sports Car

  • 1966 2.5L V8 Saloon

  • Daimler Series 3 Sovereign 4.2L Saloon

The stand celebrates “The Best of Both Worlds”, juxtaposing three historically significant Lanchesters with three desirable Daimlers, highlighting Britain’s rich motoring heritage from the very first car to 20th-century classics. Membership and merchandise will also be available for visitors.
