Lancia Montecarlo Club – 50th Anniversary

Lancia Montecarlo Club – 50th Anniversary
Lancia Montecarlo Club

Celebrating 50 years since the launch of the Lancia Montecarlo in 1975, the club will showcase three extraordinary examples highlighting the model’s versatility and motorsport pedigree:

  • Jeremy Clarkson’s Montecarlo Spider – famed for its starring role in the final episode of Amazon Prime’s The Grand Tour, driven across Zimbabwe. Originally factory Nero (black), now Lotus blue, it features Delta Integrale headlights, grille, bumper, Ferrari 308 tail lights, Recaro seats, and even a fridge for chilled beverages. Partially restored after filming, it’s maintained at Diddly Squat Farm.

  • 037 Rally Recreation – a meticulously hand-built recreation of the championship-winning Röhrl/Geistdörfer car from Lancia’s Martini works WRC campaign in 1983. Built from a modified Montecarlo chassis tub with tubular steel subframes, it represents the pinnacle of Montecarlo performance as the last rear-wheel drive WRC Constructors’ title winner.

  • Montecarlo Series 2 Coupe – imported from South Africa in 2023, rust-free and fully recommissioned. Recently completed the 2,000+ mile Rally Torino 2025 through France, Switzerland, and the Alps, demonstrating the model’s practicality and reliability as a classic road car.

The stand exemplifies “The Best of Both Worlds”: practical, everyday use with the coupe and open-top Spider, alongside the high-performance rally-inspired 037 recreation. Montecarlo merchandise will also be available for visitors.
