Long Buckby Vintage and Classic Vehicle Meet

The Long Buckby Vintage and Classic Vehicle Meet returns to the NEC with an eclectic mix of vehicles that perfectly captures the best of both worlds — from pre-war luxury to everyday classics.

On display:

  • 1927 Rolls-Royce Cockshoot Saloon – Believed to be the only six-light saloon bodied by Cockshoot, this rare example features the ingenious Barker headlight dipping system. Supplied new to Mr. Albert Hartley as an owner/driver saloon, it includes unique adaptations such as a removable nearside centre post and tilting passenger seat to aid accessibility — remarkable engineering foresight for its era.

  • Citroën 2CV Van in authentic Michelin livery – a cheerful tribute to one of motoring’s most iconic utility vehicles.

  • Brown MGB with an eye-catching original orange interior – a period-perfect blend of classic British style and 1970s flair.

  • Triumph Acclaim – the final car to wear the Triumph badge and a symbol of the 1980s collaboration between British Leyland and Honda.

Together, the Rolls-Royce Cockshoot and Triumph Acclaim, both finished in green and separated by more than 50 years of motoring progress, beautifully illustrate the show’s theme — the best of both worlds, showcasing how British motoring evolved from aristocratic craftsmanship to dependable modern design.
