Midget and Sprite Club

The Midget and Sprite Club will be showcasing some exceptional cars, including the one-of-a-kind Sebring Sprite (Reg No. 46BXN). Originally purchased and raced in the Bahamas by Peter Jackson, the car received its current unique aluminium body in 1961 from Peel Coachworks, following a fire that destroyed its rear alloy bodywork and hardtop during a North Wales rally.
Visitors to the March Restoration Show may recall seeing the bare body shell of this car. Following the interest it generated, the club has made the unusual decision to feature the completed car again, now fully restored and back competing on track.
Adding to the excitement, the club will celebrate the MASC Award for “Most Improved” Heritage Skills Apprentice. The 2024 winner, James Keer, will be on the stand with his Austin Sprite race car, prepared and maintained entirely by himself. The award presentation will take place at the show on the FBHVC stand on Friday, offering a great opportunity to meet the next generation of heritage skills talent.
