The Mk1 Golf Owners Club display celebrates the enduring appeal and versatility of Volkswagen’s iconic first-generation Golf. This year’s line-up features the award-winning cars from the club’s own annual Gathering Show — including Best in Show, Best Engine, Best Paint, and the Top 3 Modified — along with a standout modified example from one of the club’s own team members.

Visitors are invited to meet the owners, discuss their cars’ unique stories and modifications, and take a break in the club’s friendly seating area.

The display perfectly showcases the best of both worlds — from beautifully modified Golfs with modern engines and interiors, reflecting today’s engineering standards, to an original unrestored cabriolet that proudly demonstrates how the Mk1 Golf continues to stand the test of time.
