Saab Enthusiasts

The Saab Enthusiasts Club brings a fascinating mix of Swedish motoring history and ingenuity to the show. Highlights include a 1964 Saab 2-stroke (841cc, 3-cylinder, 38bhp), meticulously restored 28 years ago, with a remarkable story – it once transported Sir Stirling Moss to his brother-in-law Erik Carlsson’s funeral and wake.
Also on display is a 1973 Saab 95 Estate, uniquely converted to rear-wheel drive using a Volvo 240 2-litre engine with 5-speed gearbox and Airride suspension, blending classic Saab charm with modern engineering innovation.
Visitors can explore both a fully restored classic and a creative, reimagined project, showcasing the best of Swedish engineering, craftsmanship, and ingenuity, perfect for enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike.
