Club Audi celebrates three Audi milestones
The display celebrates 50 years of Audi’s legendary five-cylinder engine, 40 years of the iconic Audi 100 quattro ski slope advert, and 40 years of the Audi 80 B3.
Taking centre stage is a 1985 Audi 100 CS quattro in Tornado Red, the same model and colour as the car famously featured in Audi’s unforgettable ski jump advert. With only a handful thought to remain, it’s a particularly special example and a fitting centrepiece for the anniversary display.
Joining it is a 1987 Audi 90 quattro in Titian Red, an exceptional survivor in stunning condition with fewer than 16,000 miles on the clock. The display also features a 1992 Audi 80 Sport in Cyclamen Red, one of the last B3 Sports sold in the UK.
Rounding off the line-up is a 2005 Audi A2 TDI 90 in Akoya Silver. From the final year of A2 production, this example is still used as a daily driver and remains in excellent condition.
From a legendary quattro advertising campaign to rare survivors and a much-loved everyday Audi, Club Audi’s display offers a great snapshot of the marque’s history – and all four cars will be appearing at the Classic Motor Show for the very first time.
