GCCG Screen Star
Step back in time with a fantastic line-up of classic cars, all making their NEC debut! Leading the display is Lee Jones’s 1963 Austin A40 Farina, one of the original cars featured in ITV’s 1960s drama Heartbeat. Driven by Dr Summerbee, played by Clare Calbraith, between 2000 and 2002, the car remains a star attraction at Lee’s annual Heartbeat Vehicle Rally in Goathland, alongside other screen-used vehicles and cast members.
Joining the Austin are a 1985 Peugeot 505 GTi, a 1995 Rover Mini Sprite and a 1955 MG Magnette ZA, among others. With all eight vehicles appearing at the NEC for the first time, this is a brilliant opportunity to discover some fresh faces and celebrate the enduring appeal of classic motoring.
