The Federation Home | Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (fbhvc.co.uk) exists to uphold the freedom to use historic vehicles on the road. It does this by representing the interests of owners of such vehicles to politicians, government officials, and legislators both in the UK and (through the Federation Internationale des Vehicules Anciens) in Europe. There are over 540 subscriber organisations representing a total membership of over 250,000, in addition to individual and trade supporters.

Genus is in the middle of conducting a number of digitisation projects for members of the Federation, including The Rootes Archive Centre Trust (rootesarchive.org), Riley Riley Motor Club – As Old as the Industry, As Modern as the hour, British Racing Motors (BRM) Homepage – British Racing Motors, National Motor Cycle Museum National Motorcycle Museum and Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (jaguarheritage.com)

We were very pleased to be presented with a framed certificate from Tree-V Tree-V | Driving your way to a carbon balanced planet confirming the Carbon Balancing of our vehicle fleet. In addition, we had a speaking slot, entitled “Archiving and Scanning Workshop” which was presented by Geoff Laycock from independent Digitisation consultants Scan Data Experts scandataexperts | Advice and support on your digital journey , followed by our very own General Manager, Chris Elwell, who gave a detailed presentation on all of the work we have done for Federation Members. We also had our brand new touch screen on show, displaying the newly released BRM collection, displayed on their new Recollect website Online Community Engagement Software by Recollect | Genus (genusit.com)

Thanks to the Federation for an excellent Expo, which was very well organised, attended and presented.
