Why should I join the capri280 Group?

First of all the capri280 Group is a model specific club so ideally you need to be a past, present or future owner or have some interest in this particular Ford car, the final Limited Edition of the Capri car.

The capri280 Group is a relatively new club having been formed on the 16th December 2017. However in that relatively short period of time the Club has achieved a great deal and can offer a lot to its membership.

In addition to attending the Lancaster Insurance Classic Car Show and the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show we display at a number of UK and European Classic and Capri shows throughout the year. We have a large range of Regalia items available, several companies give discounts on goods to our members and we have a discount on Classic car insurance.

The main attraction for any car club member however is being able to keep their valued Classic on the road! This is where the capri280 Group excels. The club has probably the largest range of new Genuine Ford Capri parts anywhere! From nuts, bolts, washers, rivets and clips up to genuine body panels many rare and unobtainable for many years.

The Club chairman is always scouring various sources and adding rare genuine Ford parts to the already large stocks to enable members to obtain that hard to find part for their 280. Good used parts are also available plus our expanding range of Service Exchange reconditioned parts. Currently our Exchange range covers Radiator, Starter motor and Alternator. Some of the items are only available in limited quantities and so these are only available to current paid up club members. Parts can be collected or dependant on what the item is sent out by post.
