The Series 2 Club at The NEC 2025
'Miss Match' in all her glory

If you think of British classic cars then you can’t go far without coming across the amazing Series Landrovers.  The Series 2 stand at the NEC celebrates those cars made between 1958 and 1971, with a range of brilliant examples for you to see. The volunteers are all enthusiasts and are excited to help share their love of these great cars with you.

Last year at the NEC the biggest question we received was also the one we don’t have a very good answer to: What is it worth?  The answer is always “it depends” but that doesn’t stop us from discussing what we think.  The question not to ask us unless you want to go series shopping is “Should I get one” because the answer to that is only ever going to be a resounding YES!

Our experts are there to help on areas such as restorations, spare parts and where to get them, membership, licensing and much more.  The oddest question we had last year was “which Landrover brake master cylinder will fit a 1973 Ford Cortina?” - we didn’t have a definitive answer but the bonnet came up to have a look.  So whether you just want to browse or have a very specific question, come and see us.

Cars we will have at the show include:

Bluebell, an early (1964) 5 door Series 2A which has been converted to a Carawagon campervan.  This is very rare as only 84 were produced in 1964 and the conversion truly makes it one of a kind!

Lady T, a 1966 RAF short wheel base who in her amazing career has definitely been a member of the Air Force, has had 11 owners, is currently gainfully employed as a wedding car and was (probably) also a spy!

We will have several other vehicles including a rolling chassis so you can see underneath workings and talk restoration.

See you there!
