BXN Started out as a dealer's demonstrator in Kingston Jamaica. It was purchased by Peter Jackson in 1960 and used in many speed events in the caribbean bfore being brought back to the UK at the end of that year.
Once back in England Peter continued to partake in club racing using BXN both at home and on the continent, driving the car to and from each event. Amongst other accolades BXN was one of the cars in the winning Team Sebring in the 1961 6-hour relay at silverstone.
During the 1961 Gold Leaf Rally in North Wales the car caught fire due to a petrol leak in the boot which almost destroyed it. The body work was severely damaged and the following year the remains of the car were sent to the Peel Coachworks at Kingston - UK this time - and the current beautiful aluminium body was created. The car was fitted with a Speedwell Monza bonnet. Peter Jackson continued to race the car until the engine died and he was forced to sell it. Over the years the car has passed through several hands and was seen regularly on track. Current owner, Paul Woolmer, purchased BXN in 2004 and the car has been at the Goodwood revival several times as well as other outings. Following a racing accident around 10 years ago BXN has been fully rebuilt. The bare shell was displayed on the MASC stand at the 2025 Restoration show. Due to the amount of interest the shell created we are bringing the finsihed car to the November Classic Motor Show to complete the story.
