Driven's HR range of engine oils are available with both mineral and synthetic base oils to cater for all types of "Hot Rod" engines. In the states a Hot Rod is anything that is a bit more special than your standard A to B vehicle.

All HR oils are based on high quality mineral or synthetic base oils with a comprehensive anti-wear package (higher level of ZDDP) and a lower level of detergents. The reason for a lower level of detergents is that they in too high concentrations work against the anti-wear package. 

The HR oils have also got an additive to protect the internals of the engines that are not driven on a daily basis against ethanol corrosion from pump fuels.
