The Ford Escort 1300E was launched on the 1st March 1973 and this year celebrates its 53rd Birthday, as well as the 52nd anniversary of its last year of production and the closure of the AVO plant.

The 1300E owners club is for past and present owners of the Ford Escort 1300E and provides technical support and information about show events and other important news for this Classic Executive car.

This year the Club are rolling out the top shelf executive members, with Chairman of the Board the honorable Ray, to transport you to those days when the E badge meant you had really achieved something. Your car had a sporty engine, white pinstripes, heated rear window, radial tyres, vinyl roof and don't forget the real wood veneer and shagpile carpet!

So come and see all the team with there executive suits with flared trousers and wing collared shirts, the flamboyant, voluminous 1970s dark layered hairstyles (or what's left of it) along with thick drooping mustaches and just for the NEC Classic Car Show 2026, Ray has dusted off his chest wig!

So with a twist to this years NEC theme, the 1300E club bring you "Executives Reborn".
