The car is a fully legislated faithful replica of the MG TF originally manufactured in the mid 1950's. Based on the same/modifed chassis, and using the same body as original updated with plush interior and insturmentation, The engineering is 1980's using the Austin Rover group, 'O' series 1700 engine (think Morris Ital) and uniquely developed suspension with disc brakes at the front and independent rear axle. Crusing at mid 60's+ on the motorways is a dodddle and the car is a joy on less busy roads enabling fun and enjoyment within a classic shape but with flexibility earned from 1980's engineering. Manufactured in the mid 1980's in Braford - West Yorkshire by Naylor Cars Plc, and subsequently the Hutson Motor Company only a limted run was released mostly for the UK and Japan with a limited number of lefthand drive versions legislated in Switzerland and Germany. Several examples reside on the European continent, and some have strayed as far as New Zealand. A joy to drive and own,
The Club has its own strapline 'Never Lost in the Crowd' and has generated long lasting and intense friendships amongst its members, that go far beyond just owning a Classic vehicle.
Come and see us, sit in the first prototpye or in a late production example and talk to the support team, we really want to meet you!
