The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show has always been about more than just cars, it’s about the people, the stories, and the personalities that bring the classic community to life. This year, we’re welcoming a stellar line-up of TV legends, YouTube stars, and content creators who know how to keep an audience entertained.
And with the DriveTribe crew joining us too, there’s never been a better chance to meet the faces behind the screens and the stories. Here’s who you can expect to see in November…
Mike Brewer — The Show Wouldn’t Be the Same Without Him
It simply isn’t the Classic Motor Show without Mike Brewer. A true automotive legend, Mike brings the buzz wherever he goes, whether he’s sharing stories on the live stage or chatting with fans around the halls. Expect energy, humour, and maybe the odd negotiation joke. Just be careful with that handshake… he might try to sell you a car.
Richard Hammond — Headlining Friday
Friday just became the day of the show. Richard Hammond is headlining with his trademark mix of sharp insight, storytelling, and plenty of laughs. As one of the biggest names in the industry, Hammond’s appearance is set to make Friday feel even more premium. Don’t miss the chance to see him live and in person.
Mike Fernie — The MG Man
If you’re an MG hot hatch fan, Mike Fernie is basically your new best mate. If you’re not… why not? Either way, his mechanical knowledge, down-to-earth approach, and Scottish charm make him one of the most engaging creators in the scene. He’ll be with us all weekend, so grab the chance to say hello.
Iain Tyrrell — Classic Workshop Genius
Known for his channel Tyrrell’s Classic Workshop, Iain Tyrrell has an eye for some of the world’s most exotic machinery. From intricate restorations to expert reviews, his content has inspired classic fans worldwide. At the show, you can find him in Hall 1 alongside some of the famous cars from his channel, and, of course, on the live stage.
Steph from idriveaclassic — Classics with Heart
Steph brings infectious energy and a deep love for keeping older cars alive and on the road. Her channel idriveaclassic has inspired countless people to embrace the joy of classic motoring, and she’ll be doing just that at the NEC. She’s bringing along one of her beloved classics too, so be sure to stop by and say hi.
Garage of Luke — From Baby Luke to Garage of Luke
Luke’s automotive journey has taken him from family car enthusiasm to full-time YouTuber, sharing everything from retro restorations to a camper van project based on an Octavia. To now feature at the Classic Motor Show, an event he once attended with his dad as a fan, is a huge moment. Expect passion, creativity, and a generous dose of nostalgia.
DadCars — Inspiring the Next Generation
DadCars is back to encourage the youngest members of our community. Alongside his stage appearances, he’ll be running the Family Zone, complete with some of his iconic classics and plenty of activities for kids. Think of it as the perfect spot to let the little ones burn off some energy while you eye up that car you always wished you’d owned.
Even More Creators with DriveTribe
And that’s not all. DriveTribe will also be joining us across the weekend, bringing some of their well-loved team to the Meet the Experts Theatre. With their blend of expertise, entertainment, and community spirit, it means there’ll be even more content creators to meet, chat to, and watch in action.
This year’s Classic Motor Show isn’t just about 3,000 stunning cars, it’s about the people who make the classic world so exciting. With this line-up, plus more names still to come, you’ll want to make sure you’ve got your tickets booked.
