This year’s Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, held 13-15 November at Birmingham’s NEC, will feature an exciting new area as the Zircotec Modified Zone powered by Copacetic Magazine comes to Hall 5. 

Following the success of last year’s initial Modified display, the 2026 show has created an entire zone dedicated to the modified car scene with a showcase of iconic and distinctive cars supported by the relevant aftermarket traders. 

Show Director Lee Masters said: “The modified scene is a vital part of the classic car movement because it keeps these vehicles relevant, personal and alive for future generations. These cars celebrate heritage while showing how creativity, engineering and individuality can give classics a fresh voice. By welcoming modified builds alongside original examples, we can inspire younger enthusiasts, broaden the show’s appeal and demonstrate that classic motoring is not just about preservation, but also evolution.”

Supported by Zircotec, specialists in ultra-high-performance Ceramic Coating and Heat Shielding technologies, and powered by modified car magazine Copacetic, the centrepiece of this new Zone in Hall 5 will be a display of some of the most iconic and exciting modified cars on the roads today.

A whopping 15 cars will take centre stage including iconic builds such as Chris Denn’s classic mini build known as ‘Purist’, Arran Newman’s 1994 175bhp Peugeot 106 s1, Andy Cowley’s 1983 HKS Chevy C10, and Andy Murrell’s eye-catching custom Ford Consul. 

With all the cars appearing manufactured before 2006, expect to see examples from BMW, Audi, Ford, Porsche and Vauxhall like you’ve never seen them before.

Beyond the Modified Zone, visitors can enjoy more than 3,000 classic cars and bikes on display across seven halls. The ‘season finale’ will bring together 330 vehicle clubs, specialist traders, dealers and the UK’s biggest indoor autojumble, offering everything from rare parts and tools to memorabilia and expert advice. Highlights also include live talks and Q&As, the Iconic Auctioneers Super Auction, Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership, the Meguiar’s Club Showcase, restoration demonstrations, family activities and a dedicated classic motorbike showcase.
