This year’s Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show will give visitors the chance to watch a live recording of their favourite motoring podcast in a brand new Podcast Lounge.

Held at the NEC from 8-10 November, this exciting new feature will see an array of motoring podcasts record an episode in the heart of the show with visitors getting a front row seat.

Show Director Lee Masters said: “There are so many great motoring podcasts out there now talking about all types of cars and motoring in so many different ways. What better way for visitors to hear their favourites and maybe discover new ones than live at the show.”

Each podcast will be given an hour timeslot on the day or days they are attending. Some will keep to their original format whereas others will be introducing special guests for interviews. The full line-up and schedule will be available on the show’s website in the lead up to the event.

Amongst the Podcasts confirmed so far is Auto Alex’s Podcast – with ‘Auto Alex’ Kirsten set to appear at the show all three days. He will be joined by the Driven Podcast, hosted by motoring journalist, producer, and presenter John Marcar and co-hosted by photographer and classic car restorer Amy Heynes, professional racing and precision driver Miles Lacey.

Lee added: “Whilst the Podcast Lounge will mainly feature motoring shows, we’d also like to extend the invitation to those podcasts that discuss men’s mental health and wellbeing. Having a predominantly male audience, it’s an ideal opportunity to educate on important issues.”

Any Podcasters wanting to get involved should contact the features team by email to poppyseedmedia@gmail.com.
