This right hand drive TR4 has had extensive work to the engine meaning that she really can press on! Finished in black with a Surrey Roof, this vehicle has competed on many events - HERO and otherwise. The poise of the car is magnificent, the handling matches this and as such she is a driver's dream.
Recently added to the HERO Fleet at the start of 2019 is our 1983 Golf GTI Mk1, this example being presented in Mars Red. This iconic vehicle is now classed as a modern classic and will no doubt bring back memories to lots of people from their formative years. Although lots of cars came after the GTI this is the one that started a new sector in the automotive history and is still thought to be the original “Hot Hatch”. This car is sure to be fun, comfortable and a great introduction to the sport and events.
A recent addition to the Arrive & Drive fleet is this 1974 MG B Roadster. A factory hard top is fitted as are Minilite wheels which do help in resisting punctures, couple this with an engine and drivetrain that are tuned for reliability on endurance events and you have a very easy to drive vehicle that can be incredibly competitive. The MG B is probably one of the most successful vehicles in historic motor sport.
The 16v Integrale was developed for rallying, introduced at the 1989 Geneva Motor Show, and made a winning debut on the 1989 San Remo Rally. It featured a raised centre of the bonnet to accommodate the new 16 valve engine, as well as wider wheels and tyres and new identity badges front and rear. The torque split was changed to 47% front and 53% rear.
Mini Cooper the latest sporty addition to the HERO-ERA Arrive Drive fleet. The automotive legend that is the Mini Cooper has finally joined the HERO-ERA Arrive and Drive fleet. The little ‘buzz box’ that burst onto the competition scene after the ingenious engineer John Cooper convinced designer Sir Alec Issigonis and BMC that the revolutionary car could go from shopping car to competition car on the track, ensures the fleet now has a choice of car for all tastes and terrain.
