What is Copacetic?

In essence, it’s a magazine about modified cars – but it’s not quite as simple as that. For a lot of people, that term suggests hatchbacks with fibreglass bodykits and burnouts on seafronts, but the scene has moved on since the nineties. Sure, there’s still a passionate movement for cars of that ilk, and we’re keen to celebrate them – but today, ‘modified cars’ represents so much more. There are the restomods, the low-volume supercars, the skunkworks specials, the future-facing concept cars, the high-tech race cars. What we showcase in these pages is the full spectrum of non-standard automobiles: if it’s outside of the mainstream (and, ideally, if it’s a bit weird and/or requires some explaining), that’s where we’re at. Beautifully designed, thoughtfully written, this is a magazine like no other.
