Sam Dawson has worked for Classic Cars since 2011, after a career in car-industry PR and freelancing for various magazines. He has test-driven more than 600 cars, interviewed seven World Rally Champions, and once ended up in a chase across Bologna in a Lamborghini Miura. Despite often driving and writing about cars worth £millions, he has never spent more than £2.5k on a car, and claims that a great thing about the classic car world compared to the modern is that there are excellent cars available for every budget.
