Outline of Competition

This competition is open to only those owners and the specific cars that have previously won a Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership competition at either the Classic Motor Show in November or the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show in March from the competition’s inception to present day.

The competition and all its voting will take place prior to the start of the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, held 7-9 November.

Each of the previous winners will battle it out to determine who is the ‘Best of the Best’ according to a public vote.

Each entrant will be given promotional assets to share along with a voting link. Entrants will also be promoted on the Lancaster Insurance and Classic Motor Show social channels. Entrants are also welcome to produce their own videos to share with the organisers.

The first round of voting will see people vote for their favourite owner/car via the show’s website. This will begin at 9:00 on 6 September.

Once voting ends at 23:59 on 1 October, the top five cars and owners will be invited to display their cars on the Lancaster Insurance stand at the Classic Motor Show in Hall 1. The unsuccessful entrants will each receive a pair of tickets for their chosen day of the show.

If for any reason one of the top 5 cannot attend the next person with the most votes will take their place.

The second round will see people voting for their winner out of the top five as voted by the public. Voting will open at 9:00 on 8 October and close at 23:59 on 6 November.

Each finalist will receive two tickets to the show and a parking pass for the duration of the event. Lancaster Insurance will provide light refreshments during each show day.

The winner will be revealed on the opening morning of the show at the Lancaster Insurance stand in Hall 1 at the NEC on 7th November.
