It’s not just a static display, these cars have stories. You’ll find:
- Owners who know every nut and bolt
- Restorers who’ve saved machines from the brink
- Clubs ready to welcome new members and swap tales
If you love classic cars, this is the place to immerse yourself.
Are there new classics every year?
Absolutely. One of the things that makes the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show so special is that the displays constantly change. Every year brings a fresh, new, mix of rare finds, iconic legends, race cars, restoration reveals and unusual favourites from across the motoring world.
For 2026, the show theme is “Débutant” with hundreds of classic cars, never shown at NEC Birmingham before, making their debut, the most we’ve ever had. From pre-war greats and 70s icons to quirky 90s heroes and cars you never thought you’d see in person, you’re unlikely to see the same show twice.
Is the show family friendly?
Absolutely. Many clubs display our Family Friendly signs, which means:
- Kids can sit in selected cars (with permission)
- Owners are happy to answer questions and share knowledge
- The Family Zone offers hands-on fun for all ages
Plus:
- Kids can get behind the wheel with Mini Rovers
- Have a ride in their dream car with Sporting Bears
- Book a Family Ticket and save up to £76 compared to buying individual tickets. Bring the whole gang!
Can I buy a classic car or bike at the show?
Yes – over 600 vehicles are available to buy. You’ll find:
- Classics for sale from dealers and private owners
- A wide range of price points and styles
- The Iconic Auctioneers' Super Auction: The Iconic & Classic Sale with over 500 classics for sale!
It’s the ideal place to start your classic journey – or grow your collection.
