General Questions

Q: When is the show?
A: The next edition will run for three days, Friday to Sunday, from 7-9 November 2025.

Q: What are the show opening times?
A: Friday 10.00am – 6.00pm
    Saturday 9.00am – 6.00pm
    Sunday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Q: What are the dates of next year's event?
A: The dates for the 2025 Classic Motor Show are from the 7-9 November. 

Q: Can children come to the show? 
A: Yes. The show is an event for all the family and welcomes all ages. All visitors must have a ticket. Children over 5 must purchase a ticket. Children under 5 can enter the show for free but must be included when booking to receive a ticket. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: There is a strict no dog policy at the NEC with the exception of police and assistance dogs.

Q: Will there be interpreters for the deaf and hard of hearing?
A: Interpreter services will be confirmed nearer the show but we usually provide an interpreter at the Meet the Experts on Saturday.

Q: Is there a charge to look around Iconic Auctioneers, formerly Silverstone Auctions?
A: Yes. In addition to your show entry ticket, you will need to purchase an auction catalogue to enter the auction. The cost of a catalogue is £20 and admits 2 people. Find out more about the auction on the Show Highlights page.

Tickets & Booking Queries

Q: When will tickets be on sale?
A: Tickets are available to purchase online from 8 May 2024. Full details can be found on the Ticket Information page.

Q: How much are tickets?
A: There are a range of ticket options available. Full details can be found on the Ticket Information page. To save time and money we would recommend booking your tickets in advance.

Q: Can I buy tickets over the phone? 
A: Tickets can only be brought online or at the door. Full details can be found on the Ticket Information page. 

Q. I'm having issues with my booking. Who should I contact?
A. For any questions regarding your ticket purchase, either during booking or afterwards please contact See Tickets, our ticketing agent, details can be found on the Ticket Information page.

Q. I have a discount code when can I use it and what does it give me?
A. Most discount codes offer £2 off all standard (not Group) advance tickets bought online before midnight on Thursday 6 November 2025. When you enter the code on the ticket booking form the page will reload to show the discounted rates. Some codes offer additional special discounts through agreements made with the promotor of those specific code. Terms & Conditions will apply and can be found from the promotors or may be details in on our T&Cs page.

Q: Can I buy tickets on the door at the show?
A: Yes, tickets are available to be purchased on the door, however, to save you time and money buying in advance is more convenient and offers better prices. Full details can be found on the Ticket Information page.

Q: I have brought a E-ticket, can I just show my ticket on my phone?
A: We would prefer you to print your ticket before you arrive. However, if you don't have the facility available to you to do this, we can scan your ticket directly from your phone. 

Q: Can I book a ticket for my carer?
A: Yes, if you have a disability that restricts your ability to attend the show on your own, to the extent where a helper is needed, then a carer is admitted free of charge. Full details on arranging their ticket can be found on the Ticket Information page.

Q: Is there ticket protection available?
A: Yes, you can purchase ticket protection at an extra cost during the ticket booking process. This is managed via third-party 'TicketPlan'; you can learn more about them here.

Accessibility

Q: Can I book a ticket for my carer?
A: Yes, if you have a disability that restricts your ability to attend the show on your own, to the extent where a helper is needed, then a carer is admitted free of charge. Full details on arranging their ticket can be found on the Ticket Information page.

Q: Where are the wheelchair accessible toilets located?
A: Male and female wheelchair accessible toilets are provided throughout the venue.

Q: How can I get assistance during by visit?
A: If you have any queries or need assistance during your visit, please contact any member of the NEC staff who will be happy to help.

Q: What parking facilities are available?
A: Disabled parking bays for blue badge holders are available in the venue car parks. These are allocated upon arrival by NEC traffic staff. Disabled parking is charged at the standard rate (£13.95 in advance/£18.95 on the day). Visit the Plan your visit page for more information.

Q: Can I rent a wheelchair for use at the NEC?
A: A limited number of manual wheelchairs are available to hire free of charge to registered disabled visitors and for £5.00 per day for all other visitors. These are offered on a first come first served basis. Electric scooters can be hired for £15.00 per day. We advise visitors to pre-book; call 0121 780 4141 (Option 2, then Option 7), or email InfoEmailAccount@necgroup.co.uk. Lines are open 09.00-16.00 Monday-Sunday.

Q: What is the best way to get to the NEC?
A: There are several options available to get to the NEC. Full travel details can be found on the Plan Your Visit page.

Q: How much is parking?
A: Parking at the venue is operated and managed by the NEC (not the show). Visit the NEC website for more information and to pre-booking your space. Parking for the show is available 3 month prior to the event open date. 

  • Pre-booking is available for £13.95 per car, saving you money when you book online in advance.
  • Paying on-the-day costs £18.95 per car and you could be subject to queuing.
  • Motorcycle parking is free.
  • Disabled parking bays for blue badge holders are available and are allocated upon arrival by NEC traffic staff. Disabled parking is charged at the standard parking rate.

Q: Is there a cloakroom available?
A: The NEC has cloakroom facilities near the hall entrances to the show. There is a small charge for this service. 

Q: Where can I eat?
A: There are food outlets all around the halls, offering everything from sandwiches to full 3-course meals. Further details can be found on the Plan Your Visit page.

Q: Can I bring my own food?
A: Yes. You can eat your own food in the public spaces inside the halls or the foyer areas between the halls.

Q: Are there hotels near the NEC?
A: Yes. There are a selection of hotels around the NEC venue and many more across Birmingham. Full details can be found on the Plan Your Visit page.

Q: If coming to the NEC by car where do I go once I arrive at the NEC?
A: When you first arrive at the NEC follow the signs for All Parking/Event Parking until you see signs for Classic Motor Show Parking
